I was raised on the garden island of Kaua'i beneath the lush mountains
of Wailua. My photos are the intimate glimpse of countless flowers and plants that
surrounded me while growing up on Kaua'i. I enjoy working with the
Polaroid transfer process, adding watercolor for a more intimate look. I also
specialize in black and white handcolored photos. Since 1992 my Polaroids have been
exhibited in a gallery on Kaua'i and several juried shows in Honolulu.
I earned my BFA degree in textile design from the University of Hawaii
in 1979 and have since established and operated a custom black and white photo lab for
many years. |
